The Chicago jazz bass player mainly played on other musicians' albums. After recording one album with Black Jazz (just before it became Ovation's) he focused on funky clubs numbers and with time comes to funky disco like on this one. The sound is very
funky with heavy bass-drums sets. The highlight is the instrumental jazz-funk number "Free At Last". The rest is very good disco funk.
